Amanda N. Sanchez graduated with honors from San Diego State University in 2014, majoring in Political Science with double minors in English and Philosophy. She served as Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta, a national law fraternity. She also became a member of various academic honors societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Eta Sigma, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Amanda received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2018 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was actively involved in her law school community and served as Co-President for the Hastings Associates for Youth Advocates, Co-President for the Hastings Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, Secretary of the Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation, and teaching assistant for Moot Court.

Throughout law school, Amanda tailored her coursework toward Family Law & Estate Planning so she would be equipped to assist people in managing one of life’s most difficult challenges and transitions. She spent a semester as a student mediator at the San Francisco Superior Court, where she also worked as a Judicial Extern to Hon. Daniel Flores in the Unified Family Court Division.

After passing the bar in 2019, Amanda went on to work for various firms in the East Bay as a Family Law Associate, where she gained invaluable experience in Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco Counties. While practicing Family Law in the East Bay, she continued to represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, paternity, domestic violence, child custody, child support, property division, and spousal support.

Amanda has a specific focus and dedication to representing clients involved in domestic violence actions. She handles a majority of our domestic violence cases.

Amanda grew up in Southern California in Laguna Niguel. She moved to the Bay Area in 2015. When she is not working, Amanda enjoys reading, playing the piano, singing, and spending time with her husband, family, and three cats.
